Neuromodulation Symposium
This year, the DBS team of Movement Disorders Groningen was allowed to organise the symposium of the neuroscience graduate school of the UMCG (BCN) that took place on October 12.
On this symposium many national and international renowned speakers in the field shared their valuable work and visions with the audience. The audience consisted of PhD students from different fields within the neurosciences, senior scientists and clinicians. Approximately 50% of the lectures discussed the treatment of refractory movement disorders with neuromodulation. This is really helpful to further improve outcomes in our patients treated with DBS.
