Praise by expert Jon Stone for article on functional jerks

The article, entitled "Improving neurophysiological biomarkers for functional myoclonic movements", was published in a leading journal and was discussed by dr. Jon Stone.

In this study, our investigators showed that by using advanced electromyographical recording, it is possible to distinguish so-called functional jerks from cortical myoclonus.

The article became one of the chapters in Rodi Zutt's disseration, and is now published in the journal Parkinsonism & Related Disorders. In an editorial in the same journal, dr. Jon Stone, who is an expert on functional movement disorders, recommends the work. He stressed that by these means the diagnosis functional myoclonus can now be made based on positive signs and symptoms.
